PICK SEVEN

Ideas are free on mylandolakes.com. Here’s a new fun and free way to get into better “shape”. Physically. What if you decided to commit to doing ONE "SET" of seven exercises a week. A set is 20 minutes of non-stop motion on one exercise each day for one week. Build up to 20 minutes a day for SEVEN days doing just one of your exercises. PICK SEVEN exercising things that you actually LIKE to do and write them down. Example:
Day 1 – Walk for 20 minutes.
Day 2 - Run for 20 minutes.
Day 3 -Treadmill/Strider for 20 minutes. .
Day 4 - Biking/Stationery Bike for 20 minutes.
Day 6 - Tennis? If you can play tennis, you don't need to stop in 20 minutes but your personal SEVEN should be exercises that you think you can do non-stop for 20 minutes.
Day 7 - Dumbells/Slow stretching..... you got it now?
A SET is one exercise a day for up to 20 minutes a day for SEVEN consecutive days. If you can do 20 minutes stop after 20 minutes and wait for Day 2. How long you do it is more important than what you do. If you can only do 5 minutes of that exercise slow down or stop and on day 2 see how long you can actually do the next one on the list..... and so on, each day for as much as you can do of that one thing, until you can do 20 minutes a day on all SEVEN of the exercises in your weekly SET.
Don't be afraid to change your exercises from time to time, but don't change until you are comfortable with all seven days exercises. Oh.... and don't forget to monitor what you eat and consume half your body weight (in ounces, ie. 200 lbs. = 100oz.) of water every day. Nothin' to it. You'll be in "shape" in no time.
